Description
This project aims to make use of the GERT Aging Simulation Suit (GERonTologic simulator). It is a powerful tool that allows younger individuals to experience firsthand the physical challenges of old age, such as joint stiffness and hearing impairment. By stepping into the shoes of the elderly, students will gain deeper empathy and understanding, shaping them into more compassionate professionals in psychology, healthcare, and product development. The GERT Aging Simulation Suit will be integrated as an experiential learning component into psychology courses and honors programs, empowering future leaders to deliver better services, products, and policies for an aging population.
